Northlake Nature Center (Updated)

Charles & I recently discovered Northlake Nature Center. I could easily spend whole days here, particularly as it's free.

(Update, Aug. 15, 2008; This photo was featured on the front page of the St. Tammany News.)

In the 5 hours we've spent there so far, we've seen a green anole, a squirrel, multiple birds (yet to be identified,) a white-tailed deer, a raccoon, various spiders, a couple of bumblebees & this large milkweed beetle;

Allegedly there are alligators & a beaver lodge on site here, but we haven't seen either yet. Here's to hours of exploring enjoyment!
