I'd remembered more than this when I first woke, but some dreams cause me to wake particularly troubled & my subsequent thoughts chase the dreams away. These are clearly the dreams I need to remember, but my subconscious self-preservation efforts prevent it. Part of me is still not ready for those truths, it seems.
The picture is from Balls' Falls, another scenic area in the Niagara Region of Canada.

Awesome picture. It's so serene. I long for serenity amidst this current choas! :*)
Thanks for your comments - you're right about the lifting; have to watch it like a hawk - walking's not so bad now though. That trek round Kew on the flat was 2miles.
This shot is lovely - is it a scanned photo, or was it digital originally?
PS - Have only one set of shots on digital of Wales, - have loaded them onto photoblog - todays entry - taken Feb, so not Wales at its best, but distinctive if you'd like a look!
DH; Thank you. Serenity seems to have been my chief goal in life, all the way through. I'm fortunate to find it fairly often these days!
Julie; It's a scanned photo. All of my Canadian pix would be scanned photos, as I only got my digital camera this past October & haven't gone on any trips since then.
I'll be checking out the Wales photos, for sure!
I love these older pics of Canada. I haven't seen all of these before I don't think.
This is beautiful. It reminds me of Yellow Springs, Ohio.
It scanned in very nicely. Do you have a dedicated scanner or is it one of those combo printer-fax-copier-scanner things?
I know the feeling of losing a dream like that. Sometimes I think our dreams provide an honesty we aren't always ready for.
Charles; It really is much better in person, you know. These pictures hardly do justice to their subjects.
Shauna; Thanks. The scanner's part of a combo machine.
Jacob; Exactly.
These photographs of Canada are truly beautiful!
Miladysa; Thank you. :) But for the picture of Lake Ontario from the CN Tower we haven't even left the Niagara Region. Imagine what the rest of the world's 2nd largest country looks like! Unfortunately in my time there, I never got out of Ontario (& I certainly didn't see most of Ontario, either.) The natural beauty there is usually unspoiled & fortunately, largely protected. I wish the US showed similar respect for the land.
