Lana, your making me want to spend more evenings outdoors, I'm typically a morning person. I like the simplicity of all three.

Paul; Thanks. I like to spend as much time outdoors as physically possible, personally. Unfortunately it's getting WAYYY too hot down here for much of that now. <:(

Laughingwolf; Yes, we get some lovely skies here!

Erik; Thank you. :)

NW; Thanks! Actually I used the "auto" setting for these!

Beautiful! I wonder why actual photographs make me think of paintings...

Beautiful pictures, Lana! I love that time of day, the gloaming. Now if I can get around the fact that the snakes come out around then and actually leave the house . . . :) But I have to remember in Detroit, there aren't any snakes! Just evil wicked squirrels! :)

Dave & Travis; Thank you. :)

Lisa; It was sunsets (in part,) that made me put up my art supplies for 10 years, realizing that no painting could hold a candle to the beauty of nature.

Michelle; Most of our local snakes head for their holes by this time, fortunately. Sometimes I'm tipped off to a great sunset purely by the quality of the light coming in my windows.
