Hey Lana,

Good luck with the selling and the show. You do such beautiful stuff that it will most certainly be snapped up like that!

This is one of my faves from your older paintings.

Good luck!

Laughingwolf; Ah well. You can be there in spirit. ;) *L*

Michelle; So far most markets have proven mostly fruitless, but we'll see what happens...

Donnetta; I appreciate the positive thoughts. :)

Monique & Travis; Thank you!

Charles; It's a pencil sketch, actually. I'd done some paintings of it (made it a night scene,) & am considering doing it again, actually...

Hi Lana,
Bravo for the show! I hope you have fun. Also, I enjoyed your previous post about the frogs. I didn't realize how far south you live. The flora and fauna must be so different from what I know.

Have a great show!

Good luck with the show...I'd be there in a heartbeat if I lived in your neck of the woods.

And...I tagged you for a meme.

I came to see the owl pictures but guess I have to wait a bit now. Have a lovely time with your visitors.

Hope you sell a ton. If so buy Charles a beer or two. I'm sure he deserves it.

Caroline; I love all of the little, local frogs, too. Yeah, we lived in the New Orleans area when Hurricane Katrina hit (I bought our house about 50 miles north of there after we got back from 2.5 months in Texas.) Considering I moved to this area from Canada, however, the local flora & fauna is still mostly relatively new to me, too. I do my best to learn whatever I can about it at every opportunity. Tomorrow we're going on a guided tour on the "biology of the marsh," actually.

Shauna, NW, Avery, Britta; Thanks much! :)

Lisa; I appreciate it. I may be able to get to the meme after my friend leaves, if that's okay..?

Laughinwolf; *LOL*

Dave; Thank you. I'm trying to be more disciplined about the "work" of self-promotion, the shows, the markets, etc. Scheduling these 2 things both on the same day was kind of stupid of me, but I'll get a good amount of exposure all at once, anyway. *L*

Ello; Thanks, hon. I appreciate it. This was one of my favorite pencil sketches. I'd done it as a painting, too--typically a night scene. I may do it again some day.

Miladysa; The dragon on this post is a pencil sketch, actually (from some years ago now.) Unfortunately people don't tend to buy outright fantasy like that, but we'll see what happens...

Michelle; Thanks! I'm very much looking forward to it (more than the market, for sure.)

Middle Ditch; Sorry...I've been very busy with my company (& will continue to be, through next week.) Until she goes, my posts will be sporadic, at best.

Travis; Thanks. You know I will. :)
