Unfortunately Tom is on bed rest today and for the first time you are stuck with me. I have my orders to visit as many as I can, and make sure the links are working and everyone is being good. I am sure you are all being good. Tom and I thank you for Sky-Watching this week. I am sure that as soon as Tom's heart beat settles down he will be back here and visiting.
That looks really beautiful, Lana. If I did sky watch here, I'm afraid it would be hard to tell April from December -- gray and more gray! Even now, it's kind of a summery gray.
A beautiful, moody skywatch. Thanks for visiting me while I've been sick. I'm going to try and slowly catch up over the next week. There is so much that it might take me awhile.
But memories of childhood are bittersweet. Father away, mother working in the field. Five years old, brain working like crazy and the only stimulation the sky, where I sat, doing nothing, as my mother had instructed me to while she worked in the fields. "But I'm bored, bored!"
"Keep watching the sky. Look for the old men with the sacks on their backs. Use your imagination." Oh for a Nintendo in those days. But we were in want for a crayon.
Hallo from north Norway. Last week I saw all Sky Watch Friday photos and they were all great, and I hope to see them all this week too. I love to travel around the world this way.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful sky watch and have a great weekend!

great fleecy clouds. I love how they build up so high around us sometimes.

I love the blue contrast with the white clouds, the sky makes such a beautiful; canvas !!
Very dramatic clouds! Nice photo!

Reminded me of cotton candy!
Wow. We have a solid blue bowl, clear and cold...
I like the tinge of yellow.
Tremendous.
Lana- Very nice. When I viewed this scene, I thought..."Lana should paint that"

For a minute there, I could see the clouds moving.
I come from a tribe of skywatchers.
Farmers, nearly obsessed by the sky and prairie.

Gotta love dramatic skies! You have some lovely photos on your blog, Lana.
Dramatic skies ROCK!!! Super photo!!! I get all excited when we have clouds around here. Most of the time it's blue sky with jet contrails.
