So nice! :)

So serene, the colors so soft, with those little clouds that graze the sky like sheep out on pasture.

Like something out of an NC Wyeth painting!

The trees add a nice haunting feeling to the wonderful pink sky.
Have a great weekend.

Those pink puffs are fantastic.
I love skies like these--can't get them well on camera, tho.

Nice job.

Lana, those are some AWESOME pics.

It's almost like someone took a paintbrush and dotted the pink highlights right on the clouds :) Amazing sky!

great shots. one looks like it has a fire backdrop. I don't get to see that much sky where I live.

I love the sky when it looks like this. It always reminds me of thos bags of pink and blue cotton candy.

All; Thanks for the kind words! We get some amazing skies (even in the middle of the day,) down here in Louisiana. I quite fortunate to see all of the wonderful skies that I do. :)

Great Photos. Particularly with black background on your blog, the colors really jump out.

The fourth one is my favorite! They're all very pretty though, and the trees make such great silhouettes against the intense color of the sky.

Those colors pop!! So beautiful. I love the contrast. Somehow, it's very peaceful.

Very nice photos of the evening clouds with the last of the sunlight on them.

Lana: So beautiful. Hubby gave me a new camera for our anniversary. I'll have to play with it. Doubt I can ever do this well, though!

I like 'em. Especially the second one from the bottom--lots of blues and oranges and purples and kinda...trippy...like, whoah, it's like this one time, me n' my buddy were listening to the Wish You Were Here album and...uh, never mind. Awesome pics, tho...

Great Photographs. The colors are really amazing.

Everyone; Thanks for the kind comments. :)

Donnetta; When I first got my digital I couldn't even get it to focus on anything I wanted it to in "AUTO" mode. I've since purchased a DVD that goes into all of the details on all of the settings for my camera, which has been a great help. I also checked a book or two out at my library. Never say never!

yogaforcynics; Shine on, you crazy diamond. *LOL* ;)

OH MY, the color! I love the series and how it changes.

Great pics - Great skies should be the reward for all the humidity!

Hey lovely Lana,

My God, these are gorgeous! Such beautiful pictures of the gloaming.

Lana Gramlich said...

louise; Thanks!

michelle; It is some comfort--relatively speaking. Some of these days I don't even want to be out there taking pictures, but I can handle a FEW minutes, I suppose. *L*

michelle; I think we're just blessed to have great skies where we live. :)
