Effects like that are great in person, an absolute devil to reproduce. Look at all the trouble trying to do justice to Mark Rothko.
Come to think of it, that painting reminds me of Rothko crossed with Magritte. Trippy, meditative and cool...

Thanks, everyone. This actually started out as a pretty directionless piece before Rick passed away. It only got its "purpose" after the fact.

I sat around all yesterday playing CD's and having a solo Floyd fest in memory of Rick. Sure wish I could do something like your painting but I'm just an onlooker.

It was sad to hear that he'd passed on, but he made millions of people happy with his music. All in all a pretty good run, I'd say.
ivan; Floyd scares me to life, y'know? My hopes for a reunion are finished, of course. Ah well...
michelle; Next time I may do a little video, showing the "special" effects. As far as we've come technologically, we're still a long way from the complexity of the human eye.

That is beautiful Lana-it gives me that magical feeling that I get when I look up at a clear night sky with a sense of wonder.-I like the blend of colors between the different layers.
