Beautiful birds!
I can stay around that tree stumps for hours shooting this blue birds.
Break a leg.
Beautiful!!!!
And good luck!!!
beautiful Indigo. i took a few pictures of birds yesterday. those things are hard to catch. you have to sit for hours, but i didn't have that much time.
They seem to be very curious birds too. They really eyeball the house a lot.
The indigo buntings are beautiful! What an amazing, luminous blue they are! I don't think we have them on Long Island.
Of course we wish you the best of luck with the art show!!!
Hey lovely,
Love these shots! Hope you and Charles have a great Easter weekend! Working on the margarita, the perfect spring/summer drink, if you ask me.
I've never seen these beautiful birds in person. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Tabib; Thank you. They only bless us with their presence for a couple of weeks, as they migrate north. We're always happy to have them, though!
Ivan; Thanks.
Ello; Thanks & thanks!
NW; Thank you. Bird photography's much easier if you feed them in the backyard. They'll stick around for that. ;) *L*
Charles; That's 'cuz you're so hot. They're like, "DAMN, check THAT out!"
Lynda; Yeah, I never saw them growing up there (or when I lived in Canada.) I'm hoping someday that we see painted buntings, which are sometimes sighted in the area.
Thanks for the luck! ;)
Michelle; Thanks & back atcha on the weekend. Living in Louisiana got me hooked on Margaritas. With such a tasty drink, I don't think I can ever go back to beer.
I'm late :( Glad to see the blue birds. And Good Luck
Skippy; There's really no such thing as "late" in the blogosphere. ;) Thanks much!
I just love these little birds. They are so purty! I wish I'd see them around here...
Good luck with your entries! :o)
Holly; Thanks much! Unfortunately the indigo buntings will be leaving in about a week, but we enjoy them as much as we can while they're here.
