Wrong Again, Fortunately

I recently reported that I thought that our migrating indigo buntings had peaked for this year at 4 males & a female. This was the view out my back window this afternoon (click for larger views);

Yes, many of these photos are showing the same birds, but seemingly overnight we've gone from 5 to 15, so perhaps there's hope of breaking last year's record (17,) after all!

You and Charles must be feeding them well.

You are soooo lucky! And the birds are lucky to have you! :-)

David; We try, but there's an ongoing battle with the rat bastards (squirrels,) too.

Lisa; Thanks. :) You're too kind.

Nice pics, Lana. Love when Cardinals and Indigo Buntings are in the same frame. Great time of year.

Rob; Thanks. Agreed on the time of year. Just wonderful with all of the colors (in birds, flowers, etc.)!

Travis; At this point you're probably right. We're on the "regular stop" for this group now. It's pretty cool.

Erik; Something lynx-like? Now THAT'S awesome! Will pop over to your blog momentarily (in hopes of photos. ;)
