I love it, Lana!
Lovely. Great against the white background.
I like the way you allow the image of the crane to infer the presence of the background of sky meeting water.
Artistic! Its shining, lavish, quiet and arrogance..but alone doesn't mean lonely, beautiful art Lana!I'm happy to see your new work again..love it.
I love it SO mucha sort of softer Audubon...modern yet classic.wish i had a wall!Aloha from Hawaii, DearComfort Spiral
Thanks for the kind comments, everyone! :)
Simple and elegant. I like the rainbow mix of colors you used for the crane's body.
It's beautiful, Lana :-)
Even the small ripple lines are done with controlled perfection.
nothingprofound; Thanks. They're such beautifully colorful birds.debra; Thank you. :)JR; I think it's a matter of "practice makes perfect" in this case. I wasn't as precise with the ripples as I've been in the past. (Sometimes I find I'm too exacting about such things. I'm trying to be a bit "looser" when I paint.)
excellent work lana. you make it look so easy. i know it's not.
I like this.We are having some delightful weather here today. I have been out for a brief period and sat in a chair and listened to the birds singing and the mother robin scolding her baby about going there or here. The hummingbird popped in on me and left before I could really get a good look. I find I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat and it feels so good to wake up and realize it is still daylight. Your flowers are beautiful. I have some open but not much variety yet.
He is exquisite. I like the way you've created the subtle waves in the water around him, they add remarkable texture but do not distract from his majesty.
Beautiful painting. Pure and simple!
Gorgeous!! I love the simplicity and the elegance...
Wow, I'm really loving this crane series!
