Oh-My-Goddess, that painting is so unreal! It's beautiful! That is the path I'd like to walk one day.

I went to Rick's site to see the logo. Awesome work. You are so good at what you do.

Thanks, y'all. I appreciate the kind comments. :)

Oh this is definitely up there in my favourites of your pieces, just love that streaming light.

Logo is excellent too!

I love that painting. That would make me stop and stare for awhile if I saw it hanging on the wall of a gallery.

the painting just GLOWS.

Awww that is gorgeous! I can almost see myself walking there.

Beautiful. It reminds me of a path that you would find that takes you to heaven or some other magical realm. I checked out that writer friend's blog. Read some of his posts. Interesting stuff he had to say. Like the writer-God similarity and copyrights.

I adore this painting. Nothing rivals Mother Nature's autumn colors and you have cpatired them so well. Your painting reminds me of years I spent riding my horse down autumn trails with my girlfriend who died unexpectedly last year. Those were the days. :)

Beautiful fall scene. Love the glowing colors.

The blunt arrow doesn't stick in the top of the tree if the bird is missed. It took a long time to make a good arrow and they tried not to lose them.

I like your use of illumination at the end of the path!

You are a talented painter. Your paintings are phenomenal in my opinion. If I could paint like that, I'm not sure I would continue to photograph except to gather images and ideas to paint. Photography has become such a glutted medium.

Claire, Deray, Marvin & nina; Thanks, hon. :)

Travis C.; That's very kind of you. I'm glad you like it!

Charles; No, you.

Kelly; Thank you! Yeah, Rick's pretty talented and a super nice guy!

TT; I'm sorry to hear about your friend, hon. *hug* I'm glad my painting brought back some happy memories.

Abraham; I hear that--I was into archery myself for many years, actually. Just target shooting, really, but it was fun!

David Leland Hyde; Thank you kindly. Photography's always good for capturing images to paint, of course & I'll always do that. Truth be told, however, since the advent of the digital age, the whole art field is glutted, really. All I can say is that my photos sell and my painting collect a lot of dust, unfortunately.

Gosh - what a great job of capturing that wonderful autumn light. Sometimes I really really envy painters :)

Such a gorgeous painting -- really love it! Congratulations on the new camera as well. xo

Lana Gramlich said...

PhotoDiction; Thanks! Don't envy painters TOO much--there's a lot of stress involved in that process, too. <:\

Michelle; Thanks, hon. :) Hoping to get out w/the camera a bit today, actually...
